Qualifying
You will officially declare your intention to run by completing a form and paying a fee during the following times. The process is called “Qualifying”.
Partisan offices will qualify in April with either the Republican or Democratic party, and those offices will be on the General Primary ballot on July 15, 2008.
Starting Date: Monday, April 28, 2008 at 9:00am
Ending Date: Friday, May 2, 2008 at 12:00 noon
Nonpartisan offices will qualify in June, and those offices will be on the General Election ballot on November 4, 2008.
Starting Date: Monday, June 23, 2008 at 9:00am
Ending Date: Friday, June 27, 2008 at 12:00 noon
Accepting Campaign Donations
